December 3, 2008 Sales call turns into “love my Ela Area PL” chatA printer rep was in the area and asked to stop by and make my acquaintance. I had nothing to bid on right now, so our discussion was brief. He had picked up some of our brochures at his home town library - Ela Area Public Library District. He marveled that the parking lot always seems to be filled up. He thought it might be double the capacity of the old library lot, which was also filled. He wondered if it is a case of “you build it, and they will come?” He knows the library was well-used before, but imagined use grew with the new, attractive, bigger space. He uses Ela’s computers a great deal as he can’t get any work done at home (three kids). His family has joined the waves that are saving dollars by checking out videos from the library instead of Blockbuster. And yes, they check out books all the time, too. Good going, Ela! posted by Judy H. at 5:31 pm | No Comments »RSS feed for comments on this post. TrackBack URI Leave a comment
